Talks & Courses
I speak for the Stützpunkt Verbraucherbildung Bayern, which is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection. In adult education I share my knowledge hands-on and free of jargon.
Programme
An introduction to the basics of the internet: how do I find information and protect myself from scammers? The course covers browser basics, privacy, payment methods, managing accounts and the question of how trustworthy a website really is.
For parents of primary school children: influencers and media literacy, the danger of cyber grooming, pornography and violence, reporting channels, safety filters, age-appropriate streaming accounts and the first smartphone.
What does AI mean for our society? The talk ranges from the benefits (better healthcare, safer vehicles, smart household appliances) to the risks of misinformation and security flaws. A format that invites people to think along and join the discussion.
Where? The programmes run through the Evangelische Familien-Bildungsstätte and the Mehrgenerationenhaus Bayreuth, among others. Interested in a date or a booking for your organisation? Feel free to get in touch.
